Battles up Monday - Check In by Wednesday - Drop by Friday - Votes by Sunday
No line limit and the battler with most votes by Sunday night is the winner. If this is a topical battle, write a topical and not a poetic drop and the same is vice a versa. Extensions must be asked for by Thursday night by pming any of the mods (Drakel or Drama Queen). No extensions will be given 4 if asked 4 on Friday night. Extensions are only given till Sunday night at the most. If you dont ask for an extention, and drop whenever you feel like it you will be disqualified. Do not abuse extentions, they are not to be used if you're just too lazy to drop within the confines of the circumstances. Leave reasonable explanation for your absense. If the League notices you are a slacker due to this nature you will be banned for being out-right slothfully callous. Don't ho-show because you will be banned if you do it twice. We can understand you cannot drop due to certain circumstances but if this happens a second time, you're banned from the league for 2 weeks. If you signed up for both leagues and you no-show in one league twice, you will be banned in both leagues! Try to limit the freeposts, we will have a chat/beef thread for that. umm i didn't really know what this topic was about so i did what i thought... hope you like
So many years ive waited for this shit to come, is it a dream?, becuz the last time i created something was when i was fifteen, nearly 20 years on and ive achieved the greastest ever glory, something thats made my life worth while but other peoples boring, what can i do now? shall i tell everyone, they wont want to know, they envy me for my sucsess, they want me to leave but no, i'm going to stay here, rub it in their faces, ye, i think ill do that, so they can realise ive been here, through there and back, but what if it is a dream and i wake up? my life would be weird, i wouldn't have anything and i would live my life in fear, fucka tear, i'm riding this out till the end, my creation is fearless, discribed as a killing machine, one minute... now hear this, *Rooaaarr* next door just screamed again, kids these days eh, they say terrible things when it comes round they never no what to say, who would ever guess that I could be a creator of beast thats here, my only friend and son, who served me for over ten years, my lab has served me well, i can't believe its coming to an end, a piece of equipment that has been my closest ever friend, now it's time i go to bed, over ten years of no sleep, but who would have known the greatest glory would be a cloned sheep, . . . . . . . . . . The trials and tribulations of vile rigid obstructions that this career pledged, feels like infinite concussions inseprable from my mind now im susceptable to losses of more then a portion, this misfortune...who brought this? must be me, for i agreed to rap and dominate the streets but at the same time embarked on problems i never wanted to meet this can be as beautiful as an iridescent streak but fame and green cant be caged its unleashed upon my feet a grave future lurks, will this curse be worth 30 million sales? or will i become a case of lost thoughts, an excerpt of a fairy tale i basically sold my life unguarded to the problems of this space cant even get some gas without some fans gettin gassed off my face? like oh thats him an autograph, a picture please oh please a few or more ok fine but dam! you fillin up the streets the prejudiced people boycotted him, he took freedoms for granted the type of people that burned chinamen, just cuz their eyes were slanted and unable to reconsile or retreat back a while to where a regular person he was...no flagrant styles but rappin was his life, explainable only to few thought he could continue through his voyage to change peoples views on the difference of real hip hop and mainstream as it is contrary to belief this man actually cared about what he spit but suprisingly what he spit was liked by adults and kids old people and business's his versatality was infinite therefore he had a fan base triple that of any other and many problems at hand more dillusional then any other a man asked him if he would ever quit and throw it in the gutter he responded he wouldnt ever take it back...not without a studder

ok nice drop from both of u alot of emotions and vocab from the both and creativity was kind of dull though but still good drops but i felt e.c. drop better cuz it just had a better structure and a better flow wit it and it had some good lines as well dont get me wrong both of u did good but my v/ goes to e.c keep it up both of yall

E.C: ain't feeling approach you used but you managed to drop a solid topical piece. Not so much of an imagery piece though, more an emotional one. I like how ya portrayed the ideas and feelings within the person's mind, questioning whether or not it was a dream. Vocab could be improved though and another remark is that you use a very direct approach, no real poetic wordings. You're straight forward with it, try to insert some more mysterious, metaphorical expression or shit ya kno, flow was coo though...
Compose: maybe not the most original concept but you worked it out nicely for real. Vocab was excellent, you had a good amount of complexity yet kept it understandable which is a nice add-on to the piece. Emotion was strong, went into detail how the person viewed all the things happening and current situation. Imagery was there but not that much though, flow was aight, had some nice poetic wordings in there which gave the whole piece an interesting vibe. In the end, my vote goes to Compose because I felt his concept and piece more...no hate to E.C, you still my fam man...

ight...well im going out like in 3 minutes, so ima vote, and if you need me to expand more later, feel free to pm me.....but i felt compose took this one, felt he came more creative, and really made his story work, with the selective vocab, which really brought out imagery, and the wording....which elevated emotion....EC, just thought your's was too basic, didn't really go too indepht with it, and you weren't really creative....vocab was dry, which really made it less interesting....i enjoyed compose's more.....well done to both, compose takes it though
