We runnin out of spaces on the wall
too many faces gotta draw
too many faces that's runnin off with they jaws
at a pace that drops us in aww
we spray painting em on walls and cars
and it can't help remember but it still can't take away the scars
and so far all i here is nonsense
you fight cause you ain't liked
but ain't nothin in this world that's as serious as a life
and ain't a weapon as serious as a pencil or a mic
cause you can shoot a pistol drop a bomb and everything is often calm
but use a pencil off and on and you can make an awful song
the news'll make it awesome dog
now we got a blossom gone
a rose in the concrete torn out of the ground
a tree growin in brooklyn why would we cut it down
and frankly i'm sick of pictures beginning to hate art
cause every time i draw a picture it's out of an aching heart
