Would you all consider "Sweet Home Alabama" a rock "diss track"?
IP:
Lynard Skynard...unfortunately died in a plane crash
But, before they died, they recorded the hit song "Sweet Home Alabama" as a rebuttal to Neil Young's attacks on the south as a racist part of the country. I love the song. But, I can't help thinking this is one of the first rock "diss tracks". Lynard Skynard take's swipes at Neil Young in the song. What do you all think? Is it a diss track or just a hot rock song?
