I gotta go to bed but demonz alwayz try to creep in my dreamz...
people don't seem...to understand how hard it is to try to sleep through the screamz...
I make sure my head is on straight cause it's kinda difficult to think with a lost mind...
if death is eternal sleep...then I gotta make up for the lost time...
wake up from your physically unconscious state of being...
I can't escape the seeing of death in the state of dreaming...
angel on one shoulder demon on the other...I can't get none of these fuckaz off me...
I think it's supposed to represent when I take my sleeping pills with a cup of coffee...
the storm has finally calmed down...the lightning and the thunder has died...
heaven is a tranquil state of slumber I cried...
as I was wide awake in the early morning with heavy bagz under my eyez...
as I lay me down to sleep...I try to pray while counting sheep...
it's obsolete...I found my feet slowly walking down my street...
before the break of dawn you would find me walkin' down my Brooklyn block...
cause every time I tried to count sheep...I kept on havin' visionz of a butcher'z shop...
a decent night's rest...is just about the only thought I keep in my head...
but I stay awake while I can...cause I"ma have enough time to go to sleep when I'm dead...

it's now 3am...I did a late night off the dome piece to make it official...lol...but I'ma try to sleep a lil' earlier tonight cause I gotta wake up at 7:30AM...so if I get to sleep now I'd have a good almost 4 and a half hourz...

damn it, white lightening started on a real good piece. Then fell off like christopher reeves. Because of that i gotta give my vote to king of thieves even though i thought his verse could've been alot better.

It was said that KOT held attention better, and that is what it was. His POV kept it interesting, it's more rare for someone to use the topic as perspective rather than a story regarding. Whitelightning's was not bad and could have been good, but... I kind of hated the way the actual topic was used in it. Schizophrenic Insomnia? Eh... that hurts me.
