yea it's een a min since i did an open mic but here you go


Tears of crystals fall down my cheeks as I start to cry,
You’re hugging me, saying your farewell goodbye,
Deep inside, I’m wondering can this finally be the time?
Should I reveal all the feelings that’s been on my mind?
I couldn’t say it; I just wanted to hold you one last time.


You looked into my eyes and started to wipe my tears away
You smiled at me and told me that everything will be okay
I believed your every word and engraved it into my heart
Knowing it’s the last chapter of my story where we depart
It was the perfect love story, just that it was never to start


You said that you had to go and gave me the sweetest smile
You started to walk away and I watched you for a while
I was frozen and my heart couldn’t seem to think that fast
Should I tell you, or let this farewell goodbye be our last?


I chased after you and gently grabbed you by the arms
You turned around in surprised and asked what’s going on
Here was the moment of truth; will I be able to say it?
“I just wanted to tell you........have a good life”
You smiled and hug me once more, the tightest one ever
Right then and there I knew my secret will be kept forever


Now, I have myself thinking and wondering why
Why this had to be our farewell goodbye
