nice1, just be warned though EC that running a lable, it will take alot of time and work before u start to see any profits, especially decent profits. only invest into artists that you KNOW you can make ur money back from. if you need a hook up for cheap professional CD pressing and printing e.t.c let me know and i can get it done like £80 for 200.. thats £400 for 1000 CD's.... much cheaper than what chemo productions charges for 1000 which has now gone up from £625 to like £800 or something daft like that.

as for me, well ive scrapped a whole bunch of tracks from CD, not happy with them, so working on fresh material, had a performance on saturday which was live as fuck, i got a set in june(waiting on final date) down in nottingham, im also meant to be touring scotland in june for a week or two, erm im working on a couple of EP's with a couple of different producers aswell as a promo with my mate from scotland, also got a track coming up on kelakovski's mixtape aswell as doing an exclusive for hhb radio mixtape vol.2 and will be doing tracks for future UK Runnings mixtapes, also started planning a tour of europe with sub and dlete aka mr burnz(2 members of Live Poets Society[stig's crew]), and should have my first video by end of the year aswell, so yeah, busy busy busy. oh yeah, also got a collab on beit nuns solo EP bein released under innit records and collabs a few other peoples projects too.

in the next 3 days ive got shit loads to record, but this fuckin chest infection is fuckin me up.

chief, you know absolutely squat about the UK scene.

take notes from somebody on the come up in the UK scene and doing stuff on projects with some of the UK's more respected names.

most lables in the UK in all honesty make next to no money from it for the first few years, theres only a few lables making decent figures(outdaville used to be, not sure bout these days, low lie are established now and make good money).... making contacts in the UK is also much easier, reason being.. UK artists/acts arent so stuck up themselves like in america, for example.

i went to an event in leeds, and the line-up was klashnekoff, lowkey n couple of others, and starting the night was an open mic, i dropped on the open mic and had all 3 of them walk up to me personally and tell me ive got skill and when im next in london hit them up to do some work, myspace gets you alot of heads in the UK scene also.

people that hit channel U most of the time end up being what we call "waste spitters" of "swag MC's" heads that end up not gettin much respect and not makin any majour moves in the scene, one of few heads making noise next to some of the more respected names is my boy leeo, he got a video on channel U called "mr priminister".

seriously chief, you dont know shit about the industry, ESPECIALLY the UK industry.
