This morning she told me to cook some suasage and sliced potatoes, and pancakes....

Will I was heating the grease for the potatoes, I left the kitchen for 5 minutes...

Then i started seeing smoke everywhere, next thing you kno I saw a small grease fire, and your not supose to put water on grease fires....

So I told her that theres a fire in the kitchen so she, runs and says what do we do, I said "you got an extinguisher" and she said "no", so I said "lets carry the pot outside and dump it on the concrete"...

Then she said"no", goes in the cupboard and grabs some cornmeal and throws it ontop of the grease fire BIG MISTAKE that shit spreaded burnt the kitchen the entire stove, celing, counter and shit caught on fire and all we saw was smoke...

THen the lady in the basement waiting for my aunt to finish her hair was like "its getting hot down here", then I told her run outside its a fire......

Then my aunt called the ambulance they took the stove and counter out, because the stove is fucked up and the counter is melted...the pots my aunt threw onto the fire got melted on the stove.....

I waited 3 hours to eat on an empty stomach

To put out an grease fire try to cut off oxygen from the fire, use an extinquisher, glour or any powder substance...

Thats for a gas stove, cause when the fire is going on a gas stove you gotta cut the gas of on the entire house..

He also said the part when we cover the pot with other pots and shit only works on electric stoves

The grease and the H2O. I don't really know why, but it does. I think it is because the water adds more to the grease, the chemicals that would stop the fire get neutralized, and the grease becomes greater, the rapid increase makes it explode. ---My guess?

no- water hits a grease fire and boils on contact- grease and water don't mix, so all you do is cook off water and spread the fire.
