How long does it take you to decide if you want to listen to the rest of a song on a new CD or if you like a beat. I listen for about 10-15 seconds and then I decide.

When I first check out a song, I'll listen the whole way through... Unless it gets repeditive.. You cant make a good opinion based on 10-15 seconds of a 4:00 track......... |

Well I listen to the beat, see if it interests me if it is an instrumental or something. I meant that I wait listen to 15 seconds of the song (when the rapper starts rapping) to decide.

to get a really true feel for a song you have to hear it all the way through to make a completely involved and honestly PURE opinion...I listen to an entire CD, really listen to it, before I decide if I like it or not, not just a few songs 1st time I listen I'm listening passively, mostly paying attention to the beat, after that I really concentrate on listening to what they're saying
