Why do people take off the MP3 DL option from their tracks?
IP:
I think it's kind of arrogant. I'm sorry, but no one on the internet who hasn't achieved mass success doesn't really have the justification to not provide a free MP3 of their tracks on S/C.
I feel like this...If someone likes me enough to even take the time to DL my music, then I'm happy and thankful. I'm not going to remove the DL option to prevent people from getting my music. crazy man holla 1 |

Well I take it off sometimes so that the song isn't DL cuz I don't want it to be. Crazy I know.
It can bring in more hits too, because they have to go to your SC to hear your music, where as if they DL it they don't have to go to your SC.

That's my reasoning, I don't really care on soundclick, but on myspace I find removing the d/l option makes a song get plays a lot faster. However, if it's a single that I want everyone to hear and spread etc., I put the d/l option on. |
