OK....so i wrote that lil diss track to that bitch....
i posted it in the songs forum...its called "Obvious Subliminals"..... the girls name is....well her initials are AA....ehh....she cheated on my best friend while me and him were gone on our senior trip to Europe.... well...i diss her at the beginning intro....the lil hook....and the last verse.... if u want to check it out.... www.soundclick.com/youngike (no im not trying to advertise the song) well anyways...i found out today that her mom heard it somehow....and she's fucking pissed....... but the thing is....i never ACTUALLY mentioned this girls name in the song....thats WHY the song is called obvious subliminals....so i dont think they can actually do much about it since i didnt say her name in it....i DID say her initials.....but....who knows..... can they sue me for this if i didnt actually say her name in it?......

I think it's called 1st amendment rights...
she can only claim defamation if it's not true and if it damages her reputation and/or employment in some way. she might, however, have a case if she argues mental anguish... people are litigious and can file Civil cases over any damn thing |

Nope....Technically if you didnt say the name "Amanda Appleton" (or whatever her name is) in the track or in the sub/title of the track, then you cannot because it is not indicating it is her. However it is pretty obvious and to be on the safe side, I would take it off

sssss wow, that's a rough one, see, on one hand, you woulda slid off easy since there's no name - but the fact that you said "obvious subliminals" in the title s enough to make someoen liek her mom get suspicious. still, that's not a hard case to beat. If they press charges (they'll be suing for Defamation of character, and possibly "mental anguish and suffering") GET A LAWYER!!
