Im like "If only u knew how many takes I had to do to get this right" THERE ARE some verses I literally rap 50 times before I get it right. Murdah was one of them. |

yup, i punch in, on average probably about 2-4 times per verse.
why? because you end up with a more polished and professional sounding track. and it saves studio time. why re-record 16 bars when i only need to adress 2 words? i could sit here and list a thousand reasons why you should punch in, and yes, i punch in. betcha you couldn't tell

i punch in when necessary like when it sounds better to hold out a word...i usually dont do it cuz im not that good at matching the quality...yep...

i punch in either after every 4 bars or 8 bars, why? because it sounds better...more professional. just because you punch in doesnt mean your not able to perform it live also

when you perform live you can get away with more screw ups.
not saying you should be off but it already sounds different, not like they gonna notice unless your screwing up repeatedly..
