Best Mic between $100-!200! Help!

My parents are, for the first time, offering to buy music equipment for me... obviously for Christmas... so can someone help me in figuring out the best mic between 100-200 dollars... for a while ive been fuckin around with this mxl990 which i have been able to mix realllllllly well.... so if its even possible, can someone suggest a mic that would be similar to that one, just higher quality? but if that mic is still no good, just can anyone suggest the best mic between 100-200 dollars.... sweet

btw.... this is going to be vague... but i once remember really wanting a certain Microphone, but all i remember about it is that its like an EXACT copy of a microphone with just a slightly different name... the only thing i kind of remember is i think the mic name has the word "tube" in it... and im not even 100% on that detail
