Aesop is a poetic rapper, you don't take it word for word. He uses metaphors, similes, all kinds of wordplay. he might say one thing, but mean another. And I do know what hes saying, most of the time. Anyone who knows what hes saying knows he has talent. And you didnt say " I dont like Aesop". You said "go to artfag site with that Aesop shit". That to me looks like a bland attack on his musical talent, not a personal matter of "i like" or "i dislike". And MMLP was Eminem's best. Challenge that, and I'll gladly own you. The only thing that you could even compare the MMLP to (out of eminems own music) is SSLP, but even that wasnt as good.

"I can" was ok don't call it a classic, people just consider it a classic cuz of the timing. "Quick to backdown" was bullshit, he had the nerve to say "the roots aint real hiphop for fucking wit Jay" but Lil John and the Eastside Boys are? And Biggie would murder Nas and even Nas knows that. For real, 'cause I'm sick and fuckin' tired of sitting there trying to figure out what the fuck he means by some of the shit he says. If there isn't any meaning to it, then fuck it I'll just sit back, listen and enjoy. I'm not gonna sit here and claim that I understand even half of what the fuck that kid says. But I enjoy his music becuase a lot of the imagery he uses in his songs makes me think. Not about what he was trying to say, just about past personal experiences, future possibilities, fantasies that probably aren't feasable or attainable for me, shit like that. So if his lyrics really don't mean shit, then I'd like to give up trying to decipher his heiroglyphic ass flow and just enjoy it for what it's worth. It's something different and something that's real enjoyable to just unwind and zone out to.

I've owned both the SSLP and the MMLP for over 3 years now, and im confident MMLP is better.

And i said Aesops album Labor Days was a potential classic - thats just my opinion you fag, i find his music to be interesting and original, but its obvious brainless apes like you cant even consider listening to him just cos you cant take a chance and try something different (refering to word bond, not C - Section).

^ no, the reason im pretty sure i know more about hip-hop is two things.

1. You've never actually made a legitimate arguement, you've simply threatened me and called me a fag. The closest you've come to being right is agreeing with more intelligent posters who actually give their opinions rather than insulting people.

2. You either (i forget which) said or agreed that Nastradamus was a classic. If you truly know so much about hip hop, you'd know that this album really wasnt that good. It was quite bad actually. It's different if you said "I like Nastradamus". In that case, its just your opinion and i respect that. But saying its a classic, and then claiming that im gay because i listen to Aesop Rock and the MMLP, is different since you personally attacked me and my choice of music, based on your own taste not on what is good and what isnt.
