Why is it that you feel so challenged at the mention of oppression to minorities, what kind of insecurity is it you maintain that stabalizes such a grudge against blacks who claim to have been hurt and your only defense is that they haven't lived through. What of claiming that your ancestors were treated wrong, offends you? Can't you accept the fact that blacks were treated bad, its a fact and that although I my self personally haven't been directly affected by it, I am directly connected to it and that I must cope with it regardlessly. For some reason you whites seem to think us blacks should disregard our past and history and just assimilate to yours. If a black mentions slavery was wrong your immediate defense is that we weren't born in to slaves.. but so what. Maybe it shouldn't be debatable but plz, stop using that sort of argument its ignorant and very annoying. Its like saying to the japanese after pearl harbor, "But we didn't rape YOU guys" or "YOU weren't raped, so be happy."
