When my PS2 broke, I took it to my local repair shop and they fixed it no problem. (My tray was just broke and jammed though.. ) I'd listen to Opey, he knows his geeky shit.

i agree..just do whatever to get it fixed...if you got money to spend..then thats the way....but if you dont want to spend 50 dollars..try everysolution first..then try to get it fixed. i dont know if its still 50 dollars maybe cheaper now or higher
