Well, not really, no. Satan was shunned by the other angels because he saught the worship of the body and of physical things. He was more insterested in 'manhood' than 'godhood' so they cast him out from them. Nimrod (once again, who later is called "Satan" in the bible) started Paganism for the worship of the physical, not the spiritual. By worshiping the carnal, you are indeed worshiping satan by mimicking his exact tendancies and following his examples. BTW, it was Ramses who was mimicked, and Satan was never likened to a ram, he was likened to a Bull (an ox actually) and a Goat. The portion you get about Ramses is things that Paul put in when he went on his greek mythology spree. If it weren't for Paul, you wouldn't be calling Jesus Jesus since Paul completely made the name up.
