Net Fame

IP:

Now, before you run along saying "who the fuck cares about net fame except geeks who can't get any props on tha streetz", consider this...

The net itself is growing so fucking fast and more and more people are going to be around it more and more often. Myself, I know plenty of people from school who I never even thought of being online coming on for 4-5 hours a day. The internet is starting to provide match-making for LOVE on the net, which is no doubt much more significant than music (generally.) In the very near future, it is more than possible that you will hear your friends talking about their favorite, what you call "netcees" like DZK, Nimrod etc. Some of these artists could even sell gold, MAYBE even platinum JUST by their popularity off of the ever growing net. So, how important/significant do you think building a "net fame" fanbase is to a career in noit even just music, but anything?
