It looks like that Christian in Afghanistan will be executed
IP:
It isn't looking so good for the Christian convert in Afghanistan. The religious clerics have admonished the United States to "stay out of" their affairs. The irony of that is, the United States helped liberate Afghanistan from Taliban rule. If this Christian convert dies, then it'll probably spark new legislation on our part or new policies within the U.N. and Amnesty groups to protect people from such atrocities. And, to show how barbaric this situation is, the Islamic clerics said, "If he is set free, we'll encourage crowds to rip his body into pieces." WOW...jus...yea...wow
This made me think about stories in the bible where certain prophets of God slaughtered prophets of "false" religions. This is interesting. What if someone today claimed that God told them to "slaughter" people in His name? I bet we'd all say they were sociopathic and insane. In either case, people should be allowed to have a choice. It's every religion's right to attempt to convince or convert someone. But, that can't be done by force. |
