just a quick question.Dont know how to explain but its like this...

How do i blend colours from one to another?

For exampe,imagine i have a pure black background,and then i put lets say a gray box in the middle to put writing in.How would i make the top of the box blend from gray to black?Instead of the top of the box just going straight from grey to black.

If you still dont understand what i mean then imagine the red RV banner at the top of the page,see at each end of the banner were it just stops and the black comes in,say i wanted to blend them so the red gradually turns to black

And im using photoshop.Thanks in advance
