best format for mixdowns to brun to disk??!

Ayo, when mixing down and saving, whats the best quality without being too much MB to save to computer then burn to disk.
MP3 quality is booty. If anyone can let me know a suitable mixdown that will play in various types of CD players without problem it will be appreciatted. |
