The Great Debate (text or audio?)

IP:

i was having a discussion with Emerge about which takes more skill.....text or audio??

Starts Off Speaking Of The End's Audio:

FRapRhyme: umm he did an audio
FRapRhyme: go look in the audio sections
SmokaJoka666: was it good?
SmokaJoka666: or did people just kiss ass
FRapRhyme: dont know
SmokaJoka666: fuck it...i don't care....audio doesn't take much skill....biggest skill with audio is finding a beat and learning how to flow
FRapRhyme: your tripping you gotta know when to emphasize shit and know how to get your multies to sound unforced
SmokaJoka666: ^flow
SmokaJoka666: lol
FRapRhyme: yeah
FRapRhyme: that is harder than text
SmokaJoka666: no
SmokaJoka666: text takes much more skill and talent
FRapRhyme: cuz its text plus all the other shit
SmokaJoka666: all u need to be a good audiohead is flow and delivery
SmokaJoka666: to be a good texthead u have to worry about structure, flow, if the other emcee will be able to understand ur punch, more complex metas/wordplay, a larger vocabulary...and stand out multis
FRapRhyme: yeah ...well i do all that with my audios
FRapRhyme: basically i record my texts
SmokaJoka666: there u go....there would be no audio....unless there was text
FRapRhyme: yeah
FRapRhyme: but audio is just that much harder
SmokaJoka666: no...u see...there are only three worries for audio
SmokaJoka666: flow, delivery, and quality
SmokaJoka666: how do u get better at audio?? by doing text
FRapRhyme: yeah
FRapRhyme: but there is still punchlines and wordplay
SmokaJoka666: yes
FRapRhyme: just harder to catch
SmokaJoka666: no
SmokaJoka666: punchlines in audio are easier
SmokaJoka666: because they have to be simple
SmokaJoka666: so the listener can understand
FRapRhyme: that is up to the audio head
SmokaJoka666: exactly....but...if the audiohead uses a complex meta/punch/wordplay...what do u think the listener will say??
SmokaJoka666: WHAT THE FUCK
FRapRhyme: hm
FRapRhyme: not all the time
FRapRhyme: have you seen eminems songs on text????
FRapRhyme: a lot of it is wordplay and blah blah
SmokaJoka666: yes...but u see...if u look at it...it is also simplistic wordplay that can be caught by earshot....text wordplay in battles have to be cleverly put to surprise the emcee reading

even if u read it or not...what's ur opinion??

peace
