Here's one...Source is from "8 Mile"
B-Rabbit vs Lotto "Here's my motto, fuck lotto I'll get the 7 digits from your mom for a dollar tomorrow" Notice how his opponents name is "lotto" and he plays off that with reference to "Lotto Super 7" Which consists of 7 numbers, and I guess where he is, cost $1... Noticable in text, and noticable in audio. B-Rabbit vs (guy who makes him choke) "rip da rabbit head off, toss it to hugh heffnar cuz i dont play boi, now tell me who fresher Notice how he plays off B-Rabbits (eminem's) name by using it with the playboy diss since playboy consists of "playboy bunnies". Maybe not as much as text...But wordplay is incorporated into audio. It just requires that you have to listen to notice it. Just like in text, you have to look carefully to notice it. |

yes as i thought you had a different idea of wordplay than i had. audio and text have their similarities and differences. oh and to the kid that said " LMFAO@all these textcee's who only do text because they don't have the equipment.."
... lmfao at all these people who buy the shit and figure out how to work it just to do audio on rb ... see it works both ways |

But feeble...I guess your opinion on wordplay is different from mine because you are elite in your field...which is text battling. Now what I would like to ask of you, is that may you explain the wordplay you are referring to. Perhaps post an example. Would be greatly appreciated.

i am jsut saying that its has taken a dip.
Its not about "leaving", what kind of faggot says im leaving a website, exactly like you said no one cares so why do it. Its obvious people who say they're leaving are jsut trying to get compliments and praise, why bother i haven't posted for a few months cause i got better shit to do. But i still check up on how its going sometimes, when im bored. |

You can't make steps to help out the future, if you keep living in the past.
I don't take the net serious, but I'll admit that I have begun writing in a way I couldn't have thought. I can care less about How the next man cares about his net, I see it as another way to write, and get your ideas out to people. We're talking to people from different parts of the world and getting critique and giving critique. Thats how I see it, I do this for the kicks, I can careless if the next man's life revolves around this. We're all posting here, so we should just make the best of it or leave. And talent-wise, everybody starts somewhere, we have a new wave of people here and everyone is progressing, so yeah, maybe it has declined from past days but doesn't mean everyone should shit on everyone else.

I agree with the successful / good comment.
Umm, wordplay in text battling usually refers to splitting up a word into two different words as one example. There are many different forms i suppose, basically just manipulating words is wordplay in text at least. one example from UPN: Opponents, someone and Cal i dont remember the exact line but cal's opponent split up the word "calender" to make "im the cal ender" . theres one example. i really dont care to get into an argument about which is harder and the similarities and differences. im tired of typing tonight though i usually welcome it as something to do. |
