it's been a month, and she's still on my mind
and that means all the fucks who told me i would get over her
and i havent, and now im confused and feel as if im blind
people say "things meant to be, will work themselves out"
do the days that itll workout come in any amount?
or is just made to take forever and make me feel this pain
not knowing how much longer i can take this strain
and love her without any emotional gain
i just want and need a hint of what she's thinking
and it doesnt seem to come when she's speaking
i would ask, but that fear of self-embarrassment
is strong, and my confidence level is insufficient
how the hell can i tell, when she says one thing
that makes me happy, but another that brings a sting
to my heart, and i feel like i wanna scream
i just wish i could wake up, and see that this is all a dream
yea...and come back to reality to see that it isnt...
that what i dream about is the present
and nothin more enjoyable than this bullshit i deal with
a day after today, and thatll make it the fifth
and i wonder how ill feel, prolly the same ol' shit
damn, this life im in, is almost like an everyday skit...
thinking about her, then thinking about what to think
of the situation im in....lookin for that link
that would finish the chain of answers im lookin for
but each time i get one answer, it seems i need more
but for now...time is the overall answer
and in time maybe ill see if there a chance for
me and her to be back together, and let our happiness sore...
