Text is more direct you have to keep the person reading and IMO self-glory isn't a way to keep me interested...audio is mainly flow and rhyming/pronouciation so yea you can get away wit it but not too much...but self-G bars are wasted in text battles...it's gotta be creative from a dissin point of view otherwise it wouldn't be a battle would it?

I always have self glory in my verses... well like one or two bars anyway... You cant just say some wack shit like

wat if u glorified urself in a line then compared the other person to it while dissin them at the same time, how u sposed to vote on that and evry1 says yeah dope wordplay etc etc if sum1 has really good wordplay but the diss aint that good they still get the vote for it, thats basically sayin its alrite to do that but not alrite to self glorify!

I just don't like reading self-glorifying stuff in a text battle on the net, if you work it out as a creative punch I don't mind but I don't see it a lot unless when the cats are new or wanna act tough so it's all good...
