Intro I’m an only child with a mom and a dad that loves me so It’s hard for someone as young as me to see them growing old They’re so old…too old that they sometimes have no time for me Either they’re out at work, sleeping, or I’m too busy out in the streets So my life in you’re eye, from dusk to sunshine…for you it looks sweet But to me it is like a war between heaven and hell when they finally do meet But I never stop for a sec to think, like a kid that’s on a stage trying to spit Cuz I continue my life cuz it could one day come to an end rapidly quick But some aspects in my life are the best like this upcoming Thursday Cuz that’s when me and my family will celebrate my 14th birthday The Bed Sitting right on my computer desk typing a battle verse for a website I hear a sudden scratch and a screech coming out from right beside And to my right all I do see is the bed that I have slept in all my life All covered in black dark sheets like a murder scene it does looks like At the side a rather large wooden piece is missing but all 4 legs look sturdy Stains what looks like blood and the front looks like a face that could hurt me A bed that could fit up to 3 people in comfort…though the springs hurts my back And marks that looks like scratches gives me the chills when ever I look at that To heavy to pick up or move…it’s been in the same position since I got it The position of it…faced in the exact opposite direction that God is November 13 2004 Now awake…stretching I feel the pain in my back that I have always A cold breeze gently touches my face and I start shaking even though my body aches In the kitchen I see a letter from my mom & dad…it said that my gift is in the closet A brand new 100 dollar mic and a X-Box 360...the gifts given to me I always wanted All dressed to go out…I start to walk down the block and all of a sudden it starts to rain What a bad weather…so cold, windy, grey and it always has to happen on my birthdays Now returning from the store with absolutely nothing in my hand I open the house door I call out MOM…DAD and a thump comes out from my room and I hear no more I open the room door slowly…through the space between I take a peek and see My old folks…laying on the bed…asleep to me but they do not breathe The Aftermath It’s been more than 10 years from when this incident occurred Since this all happened…my life is like a guy with bad eye site…it’s been a blur But since then I went on with my life…I have a college degree and a family And I’m my own boss in life, and the office no one can demand or handle me But once a year on my birthday I celebrate it, but do mourn for my parents who died It’s hard cuz I think of it every day that passes me by but I still have to get on wit my life A bed that is made for those to sleep in but to me that bed caused my parents death But it did as it’s been made for put them to sleep…and I call it the Death Bed links: http://community.rapverse.com/showt...d=1#post2303565 http://community.rapverse.com/showp...568&postcount=9 Last edited by Symbol : 07-31-05 at 07:44 PM. |
