MY FUCKIN GOD....... one in every like 200 synth beats are good.... but 90% of the time this shit is straight up fuckin trash, fuckin christ..... wat happened to REAL instruments in music

i cant really explain to u wat a synth beat besides sayin that it sounds electronic.... an example of a known producer who makes good synth beats is Lil Jon i guess....

but all over soundclick, most of the top beats are with synths... and im just wonderin if im one of the only fans of beats that have real instruments in them anymore????

i like some of them...a lot of them i dont though.....

but if a good synth beat is made...damn..they can be nice...

this cd im working on now has a diff. sound to it though...kinda rock feel to it...a bunch of samples....its gonna be different...some shit people have never heard from me

yea..... a good synth beat is prolly one of the best beats u will find.... but on average they are garbage

I thought this would be what made you make the thread, I totally agree.

I put a beat on, that's disguised as being good cos it ain't made by "nUmBeR1BANGAZ!!!!" or something else equally retarded, and then a synth comes in at the start, then the shitty drums start and I turn it off.

O dunno man. your musics tight but...samples to me are starting to get annoying on the real. Samples should only be used sometimes but NY niggaz like Dipset like to sample a whole fucking song and make beat all super fucking hype and shit (even though to me its still wak) and not even rap on it. I baught Juel Santanas shit and it was extreme wakness. That nigga can not rap to save his life and people is still on his dick...but back to the point....Some synth beats are made coz every body wants to be timberland and dre, and lil jon, and scott storch and shit. But my real beef is with load ass wak fake anthem sampled tracks...where the laudest most sampled shit automatically becomes an anthom for dipset. please.

I usually use beats with real instruments or what sounds like real instruments. So I agree with you Fux. Every now and then I like a synth beat, but most sound the same and just sound like crap.
