this was a poem i wrote for my girlfriend to recite at her grandmas funeral...she told me about her and i saw how upset she was and wrote this....she recited it very well a few days ago at the funeral...

A Broken Heart I Was With, The Day I Had To Deal
Her Face, Her Smile, Her Generosity, Were That Of An Angel
I Never Knew The Day Her Journey Ended Would Be So Painful

My Eyes Sore From Mourning, Mixed Emotions Make Me Sad
My Thoughts Of Sorrow Leave My Mind A Space In The Dark

She Was The Woman Who Taught Me To Love, And To Share
