The newly wed ‘Romeo and Juliet’ did no longer exist.
Behind closed doors i’d act out Punch and Judy shows with my fists.
The kids would run upstairs and hide, thinking they mom’d be alright
But that night left nothing but a grim sight and a trail of sick lies. .

The knife was my accomplice, weapon of choice left to my own devices
Stabbed twice, Leeann’s corpse lay in front of me, body cold and lifeless
Thinking “Why this?” Is murder the sum of the brutal man ive become?
Buried her among some weeds and shrubs beneath the trees and stumps.
Knee deep in blood . . but this wasn’t my fault . . . if only she’d listened
The end of her nervous system, the last words of my victim will haunt me in prison.

No trace of leeann, no DNA and theres no eye witness
No motive, no weapon Nothing left but lies and statistics,
I stayed with her after id killed her, sat next to her and I cried
She was the best thing in my life, but it took me her death to realise.
