look, your a fuckin' idiot if you can say X is on a higher point than Jay lyrically, Jay never writes down his rhymes, he memorizes them, hes more intelligent, and Jay on the Black Album doesn't try to caryy that gagnsta image on there, but on X's last album is the same fuckin' shit. There's no way you can ever say X is better than Jay, and X would get ripped, ever heard him freestyle???...though so BITCH (i say it properly)

Jesus, calm down.....neither one of them had the best album of 2003 so it is pointless to argue about it.

^ no actually, you were right. the only time i wouldve said DMX could compare to jay-z is in 1998, It's Dark And Hell Is Hot. Dont get me wrong, I like X and thinks hes alright, but Jay-Z IS better. He's deeper, more intelligent, has a better flow, and is better lyrically (im talking in terms of metaphors, poetry, not rhymes). Hes more consistent too.

This year was yet anopther terrible year in Hip-Hop. My personal best albums this year.....

Kardinal Official...............(maybe that was last year....oh well)

Rakim...............(his album actually didn't come out, but if it did, it is by far better than any record this year, and I havn't heard it)
