HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA..............were did i say its cool to copy a beat...if you watch the last video on that site he explains he his not copying......he states that trying to reproduce a beat thats already been made helps you to start understanding fruity loops and what it can do....... he takes the song that just blaze used a samples it.....showing u how to make the oh boy beat.....if you've never sampled..or not good at it...its easy to sample something thats already been sampled and learn that way.....and thats what the videos are doing....hes not copying the beat for nothing...hes doing it for tutorials to help other producers......... as for phenoms beat...it dnt even sound exactly the same........

Calm down, kyro... lol. The beats are different tho, they might have the same sample but it's still different. I like phenom's better than the original one.

It was actually called "I who have nothing" and yea it is Tom Jones. word. Q - if you want to see me bite a beat, go to the new beat I made called "Trying to survive" - I copied it from Jin's beat "I quit" to prove I could make it almost identical. I did it to learn and heck yea I upped my samplin skill 100% with that new jam, but both beats I made from the ground up. If you think I bite beats, send me a sample of ANYthing, and I'll merk the fuck out of it. ps - thanks for tryin to son me while I was on the road for the weekend, and not able to respond. And good lookin out to Immense, Will S. Unyu, Dooms, and whoever else, for recognizing I make beats. FYI 'q' - 70% of my beats - I don't even use samples, I orchestrate everything from every chord keyed, to every string played. So lick dez nuts. word. 1

^^well said. It's the same sample. Producers do this ALL the time (and I can link to at least 3 differnt instances). And these beats are VERY different. Listen to the basslines, listen to the BPM, listen t othe snare, etc. Everything's different as hell except for that "duh duh duuhhhh" where the horns come in.
Oh also, the part where it sounds the same to you, I recomended he loop that part again like that and that was before my cousin told me cam used the same sample.

^^^Well...it can be acceptable to you all...and daz coo...but those beats sounds very similar...
Dooms...I'm a musician and have a keen ear...I can hear the nuances in the beats that are different...But overall, those beats are basically the same... For the record...Im a brass player...and a clarinet player...played in a jazz band...played from elementary school through college and I also dibble in keyboard on the side...So I def. understand "music" as a whole... I'm just saying those beats mirror each other...perhaps not congruently...but they are very similar... I'm sorry...even if it is okay...why would a producer want to boast that "HEY LOOK, I COPIED SOMEONE'S BEAT..>ALMOST...AREN'T I DOPE"? nah...I aint feelin dat...I'd want to be soo original, that people would want to come to me for my style and my style only... |

where's he boasting that he copied a beat? It's a completely different beat with the same sample. How hard is that to understand?

u mean like how Vanilla Ice tried to convince a judge that he didn't steal QUEEN'S shit? ^^yea...I get it...some rifts in the drums are different...but the presentation is basically the same...melody...the chord is slightly different...but it's the same shit...and the duh duh duh duuuu duuuuu is the same at the end... that to me says UNORIGINAL BEAT if he coo with that...fine... Oh...and the BOASTING is him actually making the beat and passing it along as if he originated the shit...which he didn't. Die a duck black and it's still a fuggin duck...jus a BLACK ONE. |

No, actually nothing liek that. Ice's beat WAS the same, then "changed it" by adding another hit of the snare in it. Phenom's beat is from the ground up and only shares the same sample. Unoriginal? Seeing that someone else did it, I'd say yes. But biting? Definitely not. You haven't "discovered" or "revealed" jack shit other than "how to make the Q look desperate".

actually...I wasn't tryna to discover anything...but I was jus browsin through beats and came across it... and yall can call it what u will...the shits basically the same nuff said...He ya crew and all and ya boy...But dooms...ur the same niggas that wiggled your ass outta biting allegations... and just liek Vanilla Ice...he swears to this day that he shouldn't have lost that case... w.e though...I know if I want a PHENOM BEAT...I'll just get it from another artitst 1 |

Q- everyone knows that Dooms didn't bite fa real tho... I ain't taking sides, but Phenom didn't "bite" anything if that's the case Kanye West bites when he makes beats, because he uses samples in almost every beat he makes. He might have tried to mimic the beat, but the outcome is different.
I know what you saying, they do sound similar, that don't mean it's the same. Feel me?
