You do realize that you are 'texting' when you write down rhymes right?
I've never been great at text battling, cuz my natural style is simple and straight to the point with limited wordplay, so ya. Some people are better at text, some just aren't meant to be text heads. Text is good for people who aren't sure what they want to do. Gives them practice of writing to a beat.

cuz w daubs - text can make ur writing better depending what ur doing with it...but if ur gona do that u might as well get extra pratice w them insteada posting text pieces and tempa - if ur doing text, but not to a beat and ur still not counting sylabels ur not upping ur audio at all

3/4ths of the shit you write in text will either go unheard or off-flow in audio. Text dosen't keep you sharp at writing anything but off-beat stretched bars.
When you're writing on-beat and not strectched, those are callled "songs".
