I have to agree with Logic/Socrates.. with all the violence, gore, and sex in movies and on the internet it's getting tough being seriously sad or grossed out with stuff I see in the media. I remember a few years back, someone on another forum posted pics of a dock worker that got his head crushed by a trailer and after the shock wore off in a few minutes, I actually found myself taking a closer look at the mess. I rather not see the stuff, but if I do, it's like it's no big deal. I have no clue how I would react if I came across something like that in real life though.

It's not that I wasn't sad at the deaths, but iI didn't become a patriotic "Lon glive America" type like the majority of the country. I did take amoment to pray for the survivors, but I didn't let it mess up my day. I didn't go on hating Middle Easterns and supporting a war we wouldn't have declared had it been any other country. So what if we lost 2 building. Where were we when Africa and Latin America (I believe.) were in genocide. (Don't quote me on that I haven't read my current events lately regrettably). But just cuz they hit us, we're supposed to be the "patrons of freedom" and such. No. To be "patrons of freedom" we should have willingly helped any country dealing with terrorism.
Whatever, I know I'm desensitized. I acknowledge it as fact and don't try to be what I'm not. Oh and on 9/11 I was tryna get laid, fucka MTV. lol
