To Be Honest...I Don't Know Why I Bothered

Because God is a schizo?

This verse is often the source of many debates between Jehovah's Witnesses and Christians today.

The 144,000 names that are said to be there do not represent the population of Earth. Basically, not only 144,000 people can make it to Heaven.

If you read the book of Romans, it says that:
Chapter 10; Verse 9 - "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. "

The blood that was shed from Jesus Christ gave us ALL a way to be saved and gave us all a ticket to Heaven IF we will follow what Romans 10:9 says.




So my point is this. If you would accept Christ in your heart, repent of your sins and turn from your ways then you will be saved. If you will trust Christ and allow Him to live through you, then you will be saved.

...and obviously to be honest idoubt the exact number is gonna be 144,000...cos IMO after the whole suffering and wonders and things that are gonna happen...we humans wud want peace and wud wanna be saved...this is where implicit's posts comes in!

so wat u beleive that god inspired people to write the old testament n then how ever long later he was like right people sorry i got tht 1 wrong ill inspire a few more peolple to write the new testament since ive chhanged my views to be more liberal now, is this wat u bleeive?

^what i was taught was that the new testament was a renewal of the mentalities/laws/God's customs and what not b4 the arrival of Christ..

if you notice in the old testament he permitted killing and it his rules were so slective and so on...it was like he say he was merciful but didnt seem so much merciful...right?

but for the death of His beloved son..for the blood of Jesus..he made things easier for men...read it and u'll understand what i mean!

NO! There is no reason to compete for any number. If you read my post, you see that going to Heaven comes through being saved. Being saved comes through Romans 10:9.

The new Testament also shows how God's promises of the Old Testament are fulfilled

Seriously, don't people say that Jesus is God? So that means God sacrificed himself to himself so he would like the people he sacrificed himself for because he loved them but he actually sacrificed himself so he would love the people he already loved?

And that, my friends, is why we have the New Testament.

blah blah blah. All of this piety and diversion just to get pass the simple fact that god loves jews more then gentiles and only 144,000 jews will be saved in the end.
