Ima be the outcast.... Hip Hop in general has its roots in battling, whether it be graffitti battles, dj battles, emcee battles, breakin battles-- w/e -- I like to make songs, but I get great satisfaction from sonnin the shit out of some one also- Tie for me.

I don't get that? That's like some seriousd pride issues and macho shit, when you rather diss someone then make music.. Dissin someone doesn't nearly as much talent..

plus, hip hop's orgins aint from battlin.. before anything, it was music. the beats that we compose, and the art of DJing.. yea, they had battles, but Hip Hop didn't go nowhere until people made songs.. other wise, it'll be a bunch of monkeys shouting at each other with meaningless punchlines and disses.. when Run DMC brought it to the main stream, and around the same time on the west, Too Short was just appearing and made some excellent songs, like Freaky Tales etc.. I don't get that..
