Hardly...but this is the opinion of someone who has been a fan of 50 since 1999, ever since he was on that track with Next off the "Welcome II Nextacy" album, it was called something like "I'm a Jerk"...about whackin', lol. But yeah, then I heard "How to Rob" off the In Too Deep Soundtrack and was a fan. 2002 I picked up "Guess Who's Back?" and loved it. When "Get Rich or Die Trying" came out, I was disappointed. There was less hard gangsta shit, and more "I'm a P.I.M.P 'cuz I gets da bling bling, yo!" I was feeling a few songs though - High all the time, Heat, What up Gangsta, and Patiently Waiting. The singles got old after a few weeks. I won't mention "You Not Like Me" or "Life's on the Line", 'cuz they were on Guess Who's Back. But yeah, I got a reason to be disappointed in 50.

if 50 cent lived the gang life like he says he did, then why did he try rap game as a way outa it, gang life is a way of life whether u in the italian mafia russian or a latino street gang or bloods or crips its all the same its a way of life...i dont think he was actually in a gang i duno for sure but he does talk about a gangster lifestyle and if he lived that lifestyle hed still b in it not rappin bout it. the fact hes hardcore black and a gangster makes the white suburb kids like him and the way he still at least tries to act hood keeps the blacks happy too so no matter what hes sellin his albums..but i think a lota ppl like us dont like him cause of his attitude he jus thinks hes the next jesus christ and that pisses everyone off

The production on "The Massacre" easily outshines 50's lyrical ability.

and Dre makes 'em right?...
yeah, well that's too bad cuz I've heard rumors about Dre stealing beats from people...or coming into the studio, pushing one level up and hoodwinking people for their beats... but hey, you hang with ducks and eventually you'll get in the water along wid 'em... |

its simple.. he does have an amazing flow that is very nice.. and very good delivery.. better then alot of emcee's out there.. which is the only thing that society listens to now.. they don't listen to lyricst.. they just want to listen to a song that gets their head bumpin.. only a few lyricsts could make a song as good as him and having great lyrics at the same time

Not necessarily. Scott Storch and Hi-Tek produced some of the best beats on the album.
