i know freestyling u can drop dope punches cuz i been in freestyle cyphers for years
im not saying its impossible....

im saying its alot harder to freestyle a quality punch than to write one
and more props to those that can freestyle....
i freestyle my ass off...dont believe me? PM ya number, ill call u after 9 when its free

buttttttt................i 'd much rather put together a nice set up, word it right, and hist u with a dope punch, feel me?

hell yeah its a lot harder to freestyle quality punches lol!!! man, i'll be freestylin and then think of the punch BUT BUT BUT heres tha catch, i'll have to bs like 3 or four lines before i can think of a set up that makes sense... thats it wit me.... hopefully wit more practice i only have to bs like 2 lines before i come up with tha set up... writing set ups and punches are easy... there's no restrictions on time or flow, u take ur time and come up wit it and even EDIT it at will

i didnt know that was prewriting... i usually write my verse tha whole time... like before check in and while the verse is due, ya feel me?
i never write before tha battle is set up tho... i dont prewrite verses... honestly tho, i think of personals sometimes and then im like
"if i ever battle ... i'll use this"
i guess ^^ that is prewriting but i dont prewrite otherwise

yer man, i dun that shit b4, thinkin of a decent punch and then say, "im gonna use that sum time", but most of the time i jus' accept the battle and spit, normally only takin me bout 20 mins.

That's what you guys call prewriting?? I can tell next to none of you actualyl spit live. what you call "prewriting" is know as "generics" in the real world. What Prewriting ACTUALLY is is when someone shows up to a freestyle battle with something that's obviously written.
