The music industry is sheisty... And to be honest, this label youve 'signed' to doesent seem to be all that crash hot from what I can gather..

Seems like a real backyard unprofessional "lets take a stab at this" type of set up.. I dont mean to be rude or nothing, I just know cats get hungry for this too much and leave themselves vunerable to being fucked around by some people who have absolutly no idea what their doing....

Have you even put pen to paper on this yet?

Have they got any sort of write up as to what the terms are for this 'contract' your talking about?

Or is the whole thing a lot more amature than your making out....

and no, i'm not making it out to be anything more than it is, i said it was a local record label, they have a studio, and the CEO told me he'll be putting me in a meeting later this week to discuss terms/actual signing of a contract...

but thats not even whats important to me right now, this is more like being a member of a team thats trying to come up too, so i have some backing, which is what i need...

please, nobody else come in here and tell me i'm making it out to be more than it is, because i just typed what it is, exactly... ^^

If their not complete amatures, then their basically gonna use blay's cd sales to fund everything they wanna do.. Which means at the end of the day, blay will be making the music, but getting absolutly nothing back for it... He could also very likly end up in debt if these guys have to over-spend on the budget if his sales dont do too well...

It really just depends how pro these guys are...

If their just backyard idiots who have 'dreams' of starting a label.. Then their most likly just gonna end up screwing around and not get anywhere...
