If anything, the villians in Batman with Jim Carrey in it wasn't that the villians sucked, it was the fucking Batman that sucked. The Riddler was a cool ass character, just they went with a less dark attitude about it. Which was what most movies were doing at the time, so before you fuckin start rippin the fuck out of shit, becuase you think your opinion matters, which it doesn't. Get a valid grasp of the topic your talkin about.

The whole 'dark' batman look...came after what movie?? BATMAN BEGINS. HOOOLLLYYY FUCK.

Here is the order of how good the Batman films were.

1) The Dark Knight
2) The Dark Knight
3) The Dark Knight
4) The Dark Knight
5) Batman Begins
6) Batman Begins
7) Batman
8) Batman Returns

I chose to not include Batman Forever and Batman and Robin, because they were some of the most terrible superhero films of all time. I agree that Batman (1989) was a good film for its time, and that Batman Returns was a good film for it's time. But with other Batman films like Begins and the Dark Knight out, they don't seem as good as they used to. Although the score for Batman (1989) is fuckin' sick. And I also chose not to include the Adam West Batman, for obvious reasons.

I would agree that the concept of the Riddler is good, he makes for an original villain. So yes, the Riddler in general is good. But, Jim Carrey playing the Riddler was fucking horrid. He looked fucking ridiculous, and acted fucking ridiculous.
