Yes, old album... But I believe its his best yet. Long review...



Kill You - First of all this is a good song. But I'm not feeling the beat. It is a good beat but just doesn't appeal to me that much. The lyrics... Haha, These lyrics are dope as hell... Basically a bunch of threats, and like most Eminem songs he raps about a bunch of things that people DON'T want him to rap about but does it anyway... Just nonsense.. but its dope nonsense. Another reason why I love this album. Hes still wild in his lyrics. Compare this cd to Encore and see how he has changed his flow to suit who he raps with and those on Shady Records. Got off topic a little there but I may do this a few times during the review. 8/10

Stan - This song is dope. I know alot of people don't like this as much as I do.. But I enjoy listening to it. Espcially with Dido singing in the chorus. That adds extra dopeness to it. The lyrics as dope aswell. He tells a good story in that song (not true though) and its really emotional. Along with telling the story he tells the story with a good consistency and doesn't just quit ryhming so the story will work. He is constantly ryhmes. AND he has multis. DOPE... Beat is relaxing too... I would give this a 9/10

Who Knew? - This song is one of my favorite on the whole album. Mostly because its just nonsense and then a bunch of stuff about how people give him bullshit politically and through the public that they do themselves. Basically calling them hypocrites. All the lyrics are so true about how parents blame him for corrupting the nation yet they allow their children to do things that influences then more than Eminem ever did. And basically hes explaining how they use him as a scapegoat. Beats kinda wack though. 8/10

The Way I Am - Personally... I don't like this song all that much. The lyrics are deep and true. It just doesn't appeal to me all that much. He does own that beat though, he does kill that shit...Kinda going in the same direction as "Who Know" except not clownin and being very serious. And how the public look at him as something that he is really not. About how aggravating everything is. I understand where hes coming from and it is real easy to see where hes coming from. I'm sure you all understand too. Good song... but 7/10

The Real Slim Shady - Oh God... I honestly hate this song with a passion... Beat is gay... Lyrics are not very good either... Some of them are but I'm not really impressed with this song. Well I'm exagerating... The lyrics aren't THAT bad.. But nothing very groundbreaking for Eminem. Just one of the singles for teenie boppers to listen to... 6/10

Remember Me? - One of the hottest songs on the album. RBX has a kinda wack verse but Sticky Fingaz makes up for it... S.F.'s verse is siiiiickk... And then Eminem comes in with one of the dopest verses on the album... I love this song with a passion... SF was on some sick shit though... haha... I don't know what else to say about this except the beat was dope too... 9.5/10

I'm Back - Wooooooow...... Best song on the album... The beat is perfect for the lyrics. Lyrics are dope. Dope is the song. Song is dope. Haha... But forreal... This is mostly more nonsense, and some stuff about how hes a beast, and threats, and joking around, he is really a genius, no lie.. 10/10

Marshall Mather - Third favorite on the album... This song is like sayin how things have changed since hes become famous... And in the first verse he says how alot of the industry is all about bein flashy and boy bands being wack a fuck. Pretty much just what happened to being real? He disses Insane Clown Posse too... Pretty much owns everything they have ever said in a few bars. Overall a good song... Beat suits the lyrics. 8.5/10

Drug Ballad - Second favorite on the album... Yeah, its very dope... NAme oft he song explains the topic of the song.. Flowed so god damn good, he ryhmes like crazy on this... 9.5/10

Amityville - Beat is dope... Em is dope... Bizzarre is not... Haha, aside from Bizzarre being on this song its great. Topic is just craziness... You know how Em is... Well this is just reppin his shit basically... lol, dope song though... 8.5/10

Bitch Please - Ehhhh, I hate Snoop Dogg... West coast style best I'm sorta feelin it. Dre does pretty decent on the beat. I would have much rather have just Eminem on this or someone else from D-12... Like I said, I hate Snoop so no need to mention his verse. Em has a nice little intro, its funny... Hes pretty much mocking a guy who was talking shit about him and sayin that nothings gonna change how he raps... In my opinion thats what hes sayin... Nate Dogg makes it even more doper.. is doper a word? 7.5/10

Kim - Song about killing his wife. Very graphic... And personally, I loved this song and when I'm pissed at my girl I listen to it 10/10.. Hands down...

Under the Influence - Alright song... Beat is decent... Only a few decent verses... Showing some of D-12's potentiol though... But since its an Eminem album review i'll talk about his verse. It was different, more nonsense like alot of these songs on the album... Basically saying he doesn't give a fuck 7.5/10

Talks about gays too much though. Gets repititive... 8/10
