did this up really quickly...so flow probably sucks on it and all that

If each day is a step, I’ve walked almost seven thousand
The steps have led me nowhere, and alone I will stand
In the darkness of life, I sink further into depression
I even think of death, without a change in facial expression
Why go on any further, when you aren’t satisfied
Many steps are slippery with the tears I’ve cried
Today I’ve finally had enough, and break my stair
Fall through and die in an attempt to end my despair

My soul leaves the expired body it once filled
The first step appears, a staircase I must rebuild
The days trudge on and heavens gates fade from sight
The depths of hell, become the only source of light
But the stairs continue on past hell
Like I, my soul climbs alone as well
In the dark, the stairs continue to grow
Even in death my depression will show

ok george wins he had a much more complex and deeper rhyme better flow as well i could see this as a spoken word open mic also he had much better vocab and used it properly he basically beat whyte on all levels from image on up.

George Came Wit A DEF Better Emotional Piece than Whyte although Whyte had some good vacob But It still wasnt That Good.............Really I feel That George Covered The topic Alot Much Better Than Whyte So ....

this alone was enough to win this battle.. if it had better structure..

george k. took this battle pretty easily.. he had way better flow and his wordplay was pretty good for a poem... emotion was decent... imagery wasnt too good but it wasnt bad either just mediocre...

whyte you verse was mediocre as a whole... you had the better imagery, and maybe a lil better emotion, but you poem wasnt in depth... it was just on the surface.. basic i'll say.. should have came doper, every other aspect geogre took

Have to say G got this one he came better and clearer on this one, I think his lines where more extended in this one and made it clearer for me to read but no hate to you just work on more vocab and more emotion in this one and it will be all right.

Up and up I go -
step by step I’ve crept to collect the respect
instead my head's a mess and a set of bloody toes
is all I’m left after my trek except for the steady flow

after tomorrow, perhaps another chapter in the sorrow
that's known as my life and I might decide to borrow
a map, take my tracks back in the right direction
on a path to find my mind climb with a shine to rest in
the company of what comforts me nestled at the top
but I’ve gone so many floors wondering if it'll ever stop
