The pen smoothly glides across the paper with ease
Scratching words delicately, words cover the sea's
Of my notebook, filled with all the scriptures i've wrote
I spit and i choke, words flow away like a billow of smoke
From the ink in my pen, blue streaks revived with life
I gracefully write, happy my thoughts survived tonight
To live another day, full of stanza's and paragraphs
Nothing wrote is singular, i always try to pair the facts
Make everything coincide, with words in a bundle
And make a sweet song, like birds when theyre humble
So my pen always scratches, it never misses a beat
It can write poetry, topicals, or drop text at your feet
The paper is the journal of the thoughts in my head
And the words i hope will be taught when im dead
Never be forgotten, always remembered to death
Words so beautifully written theyll put a hole in ya chest
Right where ya heart should be, songs of passion
is it my pen thats dope ? thats not wrong for asking
It makes the scratching, of the words that i think
I brung the horse to water, but i cant make it drink
I cant make it sing, and i cant make it believe
I cant let it know, theres a trick up my sleeve

Youre the horse, and my pen is the glistening water
You can hear me, but you should be listening harder
To the scratches, and not the words, try it please
And dont let the painful scratches make you cry for me
