Introducing: Spoken Def
Hmm.........Tired of Rigged Tourneys? Tourneys originally started and created for elevation purposes but end up being fixed? *Whole RV raises their hand* Want to leave a tournament KNOWING you elevated or put your best foot forward and have individuals work with you? Okay. This is the place for you. EVERYONE can elevate, I mean everyone. If you feel you don’t need help, then do NOT join. There’s some things that still challenge me when it comes to music making, no one’s perfect believe that; however, you are to confront your “weakness” and overcome it to the best of your abilities.

Purpose:
Elevation - If I see you’re in just to be “in” and not putting the work required, then you get an automatic boot.

My Goal:
I will show you techniques in lesson forms from style, flow, presence, delivery, lyrics and forms of writing, breath control, how to use overdubs(dubs), adlibs, syllable counts (positives/negatives), multis (positives and negatives), metaphors (positives and negatives), wordplay (positives and negatives), how to structure a diss on a track, battling and terms of (what to do and not to do), parts of a song/track, collaborations and solo tracks (positives and negatives), and personal goals you set for yourself…

Prizes:
I have $400+ that's available to go towards the prize pool. As far as prizes go, each round a prize will be up for grabs. I will explain in more detail about that in each round. *Note* The prize for each round will be chosen at random. You will NOT know what the prize is until the winner of that round is announced. When the tourney is over, the prizes will be sent. So I don't need addresses until the final elimination. I'll tally up the money and order the prizes from the company and have them sent to your house, and I got the shipping on lock.

Instrumentals:
Will be provided by me unless noted otherwise.

Challenges:
The challenges themselves are not for my entertainment (okay, okay maybe a lil’). Naw, actually the challenges themselves are mainly to help you get out of what you are used to doing when you record. Forcing you to be more creative with your music.

Eliminations:
As far as elimination goes, I have one solution... Ultimately, one person will leave each round. The process depends on each round. Seeing that each round has different set-ups. There are some rare cases where more than one person may ended up leaving. I’m taking critiques of 2 other people outside of the competition in addition to the crowd. If the crowd and the 2 assistants overrule my choice, then that’s who gets eliminated. It’s not a personal thing, and you will NOT know who said you should leave whether it’s me, the crowd or the 2 assistants. Point is the majority says you bounce, so you bounce. Everyone has the same foot starting in this so don‘t worry bout that.

Rules:
Are strict. If you KNOW you can’t do something, then try your hardest to do so or drop out. There is no sympathy in elevation. Either you make yourself better or complain about your weakness. Anything I say is guidelines and to help you, not to torture you or your mind, but to encourage you.

The people involved in this will also be your “audience”. Feel free to critique others in this competition.. It’s gonna boil down to that. Within the elevation process you will find yourself being compared to others in the competition, groups will be made from time to time (according to certain challenges).

Round Durations:
Depends on the Lesson/Technique that round as well as how many people that are struggling or need help with that Lesson/Technique.

Anyone with a mic that can fill out the sign up sheet look at the sample one below.

Those who are interested but worried about what others may say about how wack you are or how much you suck, then leave you not ready nor determined to get your ass in here. So if you are willing to get criticized and broken into pieces by critics, then feel free to sign up.
