lol... thanks anyway. oh, and i just call it cpu, because everyone knows what im talking about anyway. when i say cpu, everyone obviously automatically thought of computer, otherwise end would not come in saying "cpu means blah blah blah". so, i accomplished my goal, when i said cpu, you thought of computer .. thats what languages were made for...to understand each other. the difference between that and calling a jap chinese is that if you call someone chinese, they think of someone from china. if you call them a jap, they think of someone from japan. dont make me explain my language usage again, end.

Opey basically summed it up. With the bios password, he cannot get past it unless he opens up the case and either pulls the jumper to clear the cmos or he yanks out the cmos battery... I've done both before... Of course if the cmos is always being cleared, it'd get suspicous... I once ended up figuring out what keys were typed for the password and figured out the password that way.. Some computers have a way for you to lock the case with a lock or a key. Do that and you are pretty much set.
