Battles up Monday - Check In by Wednesday - Drop by Friday - Votes by Sunday
No line limit and the battler with most votes by Sunday night is the winner. If this is a topical battle, write a topical and not a poetic drop and the same is vice a versa. All Battlers must vote on 4 other battles and leave their voting links in their battle thread. Battles voted on may be from either poetry or topical battles. If vote threads aren't in your poetry battle thread by sunday you will suffer a loss by Disqualification. Extensions must be asked for by Thursday night by pming any of the mods (Drakel, Drama Queen & Elementality). No extensions will be given 4 if asked 4 on Friday night. Extensions are only given till Sunday night at the most. If you dont ask for an extention, and drop whenever you feel like it you will be Disqualified. Do not abuse extentions, they are not to be used if you're just too lazy to drop within the confines of the circumstances. Leave reasonable explanation for your absense. If the League notices you are a slacker due to this nature you will be banned for being out-right slothfully callous. Every battler must nominate (not their own) one topical and poetry battle for pieces of the week, in the main forum . People with pieces of the week shall have their drops stickied and placed in the Pieces Of Inspiration sub forum Don't ho-show because you will be banned if you do it twice. We can understand you cannot drop due to certain circumstances but if this happens a second time, you're banned from the league for 2 weeks. If you signed up for both leagues and you no-show in one league twice, you will be banned in both leagues! Try to limit the freeposts, we will have a chat/beef thread for that. ..In The Beginning..
It was a cold night, the streets were empty, i gave my wife my coat,
Got around the corner, 6 guys jumped out and put a knife to her throat, They asked for my money, i handed it over, i felt like i wanted to fight, my wife screamed, but there was no answer in the street that night, A swish slice to her throat, blood gushing the muggers ran away, I held my hand close to her heart, how could a great day turn so grey, her eyes look dim,she cant fight it, i SCREAMED!, she's stop breathing, blood still gushing, rain drops fill the streets, and the sounds of me heaving I let out a cry, no one answered, i took her home where i could think, I blew breath in you, thinking you would arise, but you still failed to blink, Why did we go out. i knew we should have stayed in, stayed together, And not think about that night that changed my whole life forever, ..4 Years Later..
I glance down the street, see 6 men making their way to work,
The same 6 men that caused me 4 dreadfull years of hurt, I close the curtains, pick up a picture and see a man with his wife, It got me thinking, what would happen to him if i took her life, Ive got adresses,names, marital status their all happily married, somes with kids............ and two with babies that they carry, i'm confused, do i confront and speak, or track like a soldier, Feels as if the world is crushing down on me, i'm lifting boulders, To be or not to be? that is the question, am i a cold killer?, do i want to live in confinement?and stack up to the size of pillars?, i am what i am, i need to get revenge for what these murderes did, *loads gun* now its time to confront my fears long awaited, 4 years i hid, ..In The End..

Tracking the Enemy
I'm at an altitute of 30,000 feet and I'm still rising despite my fear of heights, the sight of murder drives me heads chopped off, soldiers dieing for no reason there are times when u can hunt animals, but humans dont have a season the pressure around me slowly begins to clog my ears i can feel my heart shift as my fear dissapears i turn on my missiles and prepare to launch aware that this blow will be the victory punch see the enemy in front of me, about 600 feet away give myself a quick smile, its that guy's last day shoot the first bomb but he swurves astray thinking to myself, there is no way this guy is gona die another day. Speed up, now i'm on his tail just when i shoot, he begins to bail now i know he scared and is running for his life i can almost feel the sweat on his face as he is remembering his wife But this is war and i cant feel sorry because if he got the chance, he woudnt think twice to pop me its a cat and mouse chase now, and this cat is hungry giving up is not an option, death is not a boundary then all of a sudden, he flies to the right at top speed, so i almost lose sight this guy isnt a bad pilot, ill give him that its too bad he gota die by a missle or bat the sun is setting, its a beautiful sight to see now i know for sure, killing him is the only way to be track him down and now to him, i am locked there's no way to dodge this, the flares cant have it blocked say my prayers and deliver the final blow watch peacefully as his aircraft blows i reach the ground and am pleasantly greeted because in protecting my country, i have succeeded. |

AII This might sound Bais Or somethinG but I Read EC'z first 2 bars and already i wanted to vote for him LOL Its like his storyline supplied good suspense both of you really did supply good suspense I Liked Iggies storyline A Lil I felt he couldve done a Whole lot more with the storyline that he choose himself ...Nice drop to both of you but if my vote went to anybody it would be EC
