Introduction:

A round of 16 that was far from sweet. This week incited more irritation in our competitors, but that didn't surprise me. What did surprise me, however...was nothing, there's just been a whole lot of bitching this entire tourney. But, there was only 1 no-show this week! Woo-hoo! Anyways, let's check out what happened last week.

Round 3 Review:

1. JTR vs. 29. Compose
Compose set a record this round. He has made it the farthest in any tourney without dropping one line at all. Unfortunately, JTR isn't really known for his no-showing, so Com was out of luck this week. Although JTR didn't drop a verse himself, Com didn't even check in, giving JTR the win.

N.Tavarez vs. 27. Robkilla
Not too exciting here. Tav had the voting in his favor 1-0, then accusations of him biting a line arose. The situation only got worse when Red Bull gave Tav the win, by DQ'ing Robkilla for dropping late. Although a lot of people started bitching about it and sending me pm's, Tav had already advanced before I knew about any of it.

3. It's SPuL! vs. 26. E.C
Well, SPuL pussied out of dropping the set 20 lines, and E.C agreed to it. After that, SPuL got all the votes, and eliminated E.C from KORV3.

4. Mimesis vs. 25. Trey Methodz
Trey Methodz, being a fucking biter and all, didn't stand much of a chance this week. He probably bit again this week, but I don't really care because he lost anyways. Oh, and the gay ass biter was eliminated, allowing Mimesis to move on to round 4.

6. L.I. vs. 17. Apostrophe
Well, I guess my prediction was wrong last week. Apos came with a good verse like I expected, but what I didn't expect was for him to beat L.I.. Well, that's what happened, and Apostrophe is now in the Elite 8.

10. Sobe. vs. 15. Apo Kold
Pretty close battle here, apparently Apo (aka Poppa Kap) still has his touch. However, this round it just wasn't enough, as Sobe. squeaked by in the voters' opinions.

11. Vaskez vs. 14. Ambient
Vas pretty much dominated this battle, although a few voters saw it as being pretty close. Anyway, Ambient took his sweet time to drop his verse, and still didn't put enough effort into it in order to win this week. Vaskez won and is now in round 4.

12. FuxJustAWord vs. 13. King Solo
The match I was looking forward to, was actually kinda close. However, Fux pulled it out in the end, knocking Solo out of the tourney. Not much to explain here, that's just what happened.

Round 4 Predictions:

1. JTR vs. 17. Apostrophe
I know JTR is favored to win this one, but I also know Apost won't go out without a fight. So this'll be closer than people think, but JTR will edge it out in the end.

2. N.Tavarez vs. 12. FuxJustAWord
Absolute tie.

3. It's SPuL vs. 11. Vaskez
I think SPuL will drop his best verse in the tourney this round, but Vaskez will pull it out. I've seen Vas come hard when he needs to, and I think he'll drop enough to beat SPuL and make his way to the Final 4.

4. Mimesis vs. 10. Sobe.
This one will be closer than expected as well. Both will drop good I predict, but Mim will come out on top.

Outro:

It's nearing the end, folks. 2 more rounds to go after this, so now is the perfect time to stop half-assing and really get down to business. 8 worthy competitors, but only half of them will advance. Who will those 4 be? We'll find out Sunday.
