I hope some1 sticky this for me.


1) The home page...i think the site should have a official homepage...

we should put a feat. text and audio cat up on their tourney winners, etc. hiphop news...site champion list, stuff like that...holla at me for me ideas. maybe a site anthem on there.


2) To gain money we can get sponcers...they can donate either their merchandise, money, etc. and we can throw their logo on the site(homepage) for advertising...we did this on another site.

3) Audio, text, poetry the major forums where peeps post their work should have at least 4-5 dedicated mods that will basically respond like crazy and enforce the rules. i see some forums where the rules are not being enforced and there is a lot of sleeping and inactivity going on because of it.

4) HHE radio featuring the artist on the board...i seen this done many times and it makes peeps stay active on the board cause they want to hear their songs being played so they tend to stay on the board longer.

5) To bring more activity

- Board battle aways bring massive activity and new members...not only to battle but other members will just wanna peep the site they going against and they may like it and wanna stay...this is something that will make more RV members get involved in rather than small lil skirmish beefs amongst themselves(which is not bad).

- top post list of the week...for example...top audio/text/poetry joints of the week...i know a cat thats on this board that if really good at doing this and keep that shit in order...

Interviews with emcees/ online site magazine, etc.

- More events...i'll elaborate later...more than just regular tourneys.

mass promoting for the board....now we know we cant post links and PM cats on other boards with RV's link...but we can get some dedicated members to go to different boards...check peeps profiles and get AIM and yahoo names then hit these cats up with the link is mass. bring more heads to the board bring up the activity


6) safety

- hopefully the admins do regular back ups of the boards cause these boards are known to get hacked a lot and it would be fucked up to loose everything and not be able to get most of it back. although back-ups only do some much omething is better than nothing.

- a trusted person who knows about security and hacking and all that type of stuff to ensure the safety of the board.


7) The staff- by what i observed i dont think the staff works together enough...i think that being a mod of a forum is more than just locking and closing post but to come up with fresh ideas to keep their forum active.....and i dont see a lot of rules being enforced...if you a mod and you enforcing the rules then this is not towards you but i see regular members like rell-i-vent in the audio forum calling people out on not posting links more then the mods do. 2 links to post 1 link to up your joint. peep this link... http://community.rapverse.com/showthread.php?t=177797

- need to promote that more members get involved in getting the site better.


500 post to get a sub forum is to much i think...crews bring activity...and a lot of crews do get inactive so inactivity crew rules the site have a good...but there crews that come and are active but cant get a sub forum...

woah it looks like you have thought about this long and hard... ill have to agree with you on some of them... we should definatly have an official homepage that sounds like a dope idea... im not sure about the one that you sed that 500 posts to get a crew is too much... i dnt think it is becuz anybody will be making crews and they will fold so having 500 posts at last says you arnt here for one day its like to show u are active and are being serious about making a crew... thats about all i disagree on at this moment in time... good luck in getting the rest of the members to agree wit you on this...
