Howard Stern Show Suspended

Clear Channel suspended Howard Stern's Show yesterday for not meeting their new broadcast decency standards saying "Clear Channel drew a line in the sand today with regard to protecting our listeners from indecent content and Howard Stern's show blew right through it". Protecting our listeners? I'm sure nobody is forcing the listeners to turn on the radio and listen to Howard Stern. If they mention something on the show that is offensive, I'm sure the listeners have the power to turn it off or go somewhere else. Why do we need someone to "protect" us? Censorship sometimes annoys the hell out of me.

Yeah, most people probably don't care about the Howard Stern Show. I don't even listen to it. What I'm getting at was censorship. Sort of like how Walmart makes artists have toned down cds because they don't sell cds with explicit lyrics.

Cencorship is fucked up now... They tone down cd's so 4 year olds can listen to an Em cd or some shit. Well, you idiots, Em didnt write the song for four year olds... So leave the cd alone. Jesus christ... So damn protective of the youth and shit, Better off haveing robots for our future leaders when these kids grow up.
