2 now it don’t matter who you are/ if your dirt poor or a famous superstar/ it don’t matter if ya have a lot of money/ or the number of your honeys/ it don’t matter if you never did any drugs/ or how smooth you can cut the rug/ it don’t matter if you have a nice ride/ if you’re a seeker or you hide/ don’t matter how beautiful or pretty/ if ya live in the country, a town, or a city/ it don’t matter how many times you go to church/ He’s the One that saves you, not the church/ it really don’t matter if you can speak in tongues/ or if its just the old hymns that are sung/ and it don’t matter how many times you pray to Mary/ and if ya ask me, that’s just a lil bit scary/ you see the bad will always overcome the good/ but I know a way that you could/ for eternity be with Him/ and out of the place I like to call the dim

3. everyone wants to play it off/ and talk bout heaven and throw hell off/ but that place is real/ and you can’t get out by cuttin a deal/ it ain’t gonna be a party or fun/ and your not gonna be able to hide or run/ from the pain and sufferin from beneath/ Jesus said it’s the place where the grindin of teeth/ will be, and its beyond my belief/ of how bad its gonna be/ not bein able to see/ and I thank God I ain’t goin there/ thinkin bout it is more than I can bear/just thinkin bout it makes me want to pull my hair/ so listen to me as I tell/ what the Bible says bout that place called hell
