Anyways, dude in the tutorial talked a lot about flow but didn't mention a few very important aspects...


... Assonance, Consonance, and Alliteration.

Dictionary shit:

Assonance: the repetition of similar vowels in the stressed syllables of successive words.

Consonance: the repetition of consonants (or consonant patterns) especially at the ends of words.

Alliteration: use of the same consonant at the beginning of each stressed syllable in a line of verse.


And now in hip hop terms:

Assonance: make the vowel sounds in your connectiong words match up, like this...
'Anxiety ignites in a variety of lights intirely intised, admiring twice while expiring life in an empire of a dietys sight.'

Consonance: make the consonants (non-vowels) of your connecting words sound alike, something like this...
'I'll park in the streets ta scarf on ya heart piece, born a scarred preist with a mark of the dark beast.'

Alliteration: technically, vowels don't count here but who give's a shit, the flows still ill. Just match up the beginning of each word, like you've seen in some alphabet cypha's, this is easy, check it...
'I'm an assasin asaulting ambitions and asperations, born brawn, blazin' bazooka bombs n blood bathin.'


All this extra shit can help your flow become so ill, Shakespeare's ass mastered all this long ago... its all based in poetry, but you can trust that it won't hurt your battles or writtens. More examples...

'intinsify initial insight, illiterate i's(eyes) incased
easily escaping earth, extreme elevation embrassed'

'anxiety ignites in a variety of lights intirely intised, admiring twice while expiring life in an empire of a dietys sight'

...and just an example of perfect fucking flow:

'My life as a misanthropic dominatrix mental patient, hearts vented satan, content's breakin' simple basics.'

...and this shit mixed with those multies:

'Suplexin shadows severin several sides n sections, terminating testicles n teats wit tentacles every time i'm textin.'

... and alphabetical alliteration again:

'mass massacaers a master of murdering menators
a necromancer navigating narcotics n-the-north
an obscene omen birthing ominous offspring
proper presperation prevents poor performance'

Now learn this if ya don't know it... and practice then preach this shit.
