(Story Mode)

We got underway, speeding off down the highway
Gazing at the sunset as we drove past the bay
We pulled over for petrol but got straight back on the road
The boot was full up with one hell of a load
It started to get dark, and a little bit misty
Only stuff within a few metres we could see
Suddenly we saw some, lights heading towards us
He was on the wrong side of the road and ad to swerve to avoid us
We sawdust, as it was kicked up into our windscreen
We swerved, toppled down a hill and into a ragging stream

I looked into the back, to see if anyone was hurt
My shirt was ripped, and the car would not work
We began to move and started floating down the stream
We screamed, this was the end so it seemed
The car hit a rock and we stopped, but the doors were blocked
We smashed the windscreen and scrambled out, but the car rocked
We all fell in and began swimming for our lives
After a few minutes of struggle we made it to the side
We Scrambled to shore and started gasping for air
It was pitch black and we were in the middle of nowhere

The night had fallen, and I attempted to try calling
But my phone was broken, and the freezing air kept cooling
We were cold and alone, and our wet clothes were another burden
Dying of hypothermia it seemed almost certain
We heard the loud Honk of a truck horn way above
We new we had to go now because we had none of our stuff
We started scrambling up the hill, amongst all the trees
We could not see and still try desperately hard not to freeze
The undergrowth was torture, and the thorns cutting at our knees
And the leaves seemed like brick walls stopping us from getting free
All of a sudden we were out and the moon was shining upon us
And all we saw was a giant cliff gazing down on us
We could see the lights of cars maybe 70 metres up
We hesitated for a bit but decided we had had enough
So we began to climb, slightly handicapped by the dark
Afraid to look down, but then I suddenly got stuck
Everyone had reached the top and I was stuck, thinking I would die
All alone and still dangling there sixty metres high
I screamed for assistance, and one of them came down to help me
Helped me untie my shoe then we were able to climb to safety

I was helped up, and then we all shouted with relief
We lay on the road side, panting in disbelief
We saw lights in the mist, we threw out our hands
A jeep pulled over and saw us wet and covered in sand
He gave us a lift, yet we were silent in his car
We got home and I was the first into the shower
When I came out I saw I had a large cut on my chest
Yet we were all bruised from having a close encounter with death
I tried to sleep, but keep thinking bout my experience on the cliff
Thinking back…… this was an unforgettable road trip
